《Pokémon Go》在全球上市短短幾週掀起寶可夢熱潮，不少玩家出門在外就是忙著低頭抓寶，為解決玩家走路、開車可能會分心的困擾，John Hanke表示未來想開發一款《Pokémon Go》智慧隱形眼鏡。

Niantic Labs CEO同時也是《Pokémon Go》的創作者John Hanke透露，未來將著手開發一款寶可夢智慧隱形眼鏡，讓玩家感受更真實的遊戲體驗。這款隱形眼鏡可投射AR技術到現實世界，玩家未來可以不必拿著手機，就能在生活中看見野生神奇寶貝、道館等所有遊戲中的虛擬場景。

在LA Times遊戲會議會上，Hanke表示：「我是一個科幻迷，想要利用隱形眼鏡的特性，讓真實世界可任意轉換成想要的樣子。」等到《Pokémon Go》隱形眼鏡問世那天，訓練師們齊聚拿出手機忙抓寶的奇景，可能就會成為歷史上經典畫面之一了。
